The southern arm of the Pilgrimage will depart from the tip of Texas in Brownsville, wind around the Gulf of Mexico—an area chosen for its deep Catholic roots—and pass through the southeastern region of the United States on its way to Indianapolis for the 10th National Eucharistic Congress. Will you accompany Jesus on the road? Pilgrims will attend Mass every day and have numerous opportunities for healing and encounter with God’s mercy. Join us in following Christ through the streets, proclaiming his love and mercy through the greatest gift humanity has ever received: the Holy Eucharist
This route is named for St. Juan Diego, whose vision of Our Lady has had a massive impact on the spiritual character of North America. St. Juan Diego had a great devotion to the Eucharist and made his own little pilgrimage every day, rising before dawn and walking 15 miles to daily Mass. Today we join him in asking Our Lady to lead America to a greater love for her Son in the Eucharist. St. Juan Diego, pray for us! Will you accompany Jesus on the road? Pilgrims will attend Mass every day and have numerous opportunities for healing and encounter with God’s mercy. Join us in following Christ through the streets, proclaiming his love and mercy through the greatest gift humanity has ever received: the Holy Eucharist.
