The purpose of the GH-ACCW Woman of the Year award is to recognize an outstanding woman in each affiliated Deanery at the annual GH ACCW Conference. These women’s lives exemplify the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love. They particularly demonstrate spirituality, leadership and service to Christ, His Church and society. The candidate from each Deanery is recognized with a certificate and gift at the luncheon.
To qualify for this award the women must:
• Be Catholic
• A member in good standing of an affiliated parish
• Affiliated as an individual member of their Deanery if part of an unaffiliated parish
• Active in the Deanery CCW and GH ACCW
• Serves her family, parish, diocese and community in different voluntary capacities advancing growth in spirituality, leadership and service to Christ, His Church and society
• Shall not have been selected Woman of the Year in the past five (5) years
Nominate your woman by February 28, 2023 for them to be eligible for this years recognition. The winners will be announced at this years Conference on Saturday, March 25 at St. Mary Seminary. Be sure to register now - https://ghcw.org/womens-conference
